Did you know your oral contraceptive could be depleting your essential nutrients?

Here are some common nutrients that could be depleted by oral contraceptives and good dietary sources of those vitamins and mineral.

Vitamin B6- Fish, poultry, whole grains, potatoes, sweet potatoes

Folic Acid- Dark green leafy and steam vegetables, liver, dried beans

Zinc- Oysters and other seafood, meat, nuts, whole grain breads

Vitamin C- Citrus fruits, strawberries, cantaloupe, pineapple, broccoli, peppers, spinach
