National Pet Memorial Day--September 10th

Celebrate National Pet Memorial Day, held annually on the Second Sunday of September, by honoring the memory of your beloved pet. This special day was created as a way to recognize and remember all the unconditional love and loyalty that our pets have given us over the years. Whether you still have your pet or have sadly said goodbye, it's important to spend some time reflecting on their impact on our lives. Pearl, Daisy Mae, Loki, Finn and Pyro were intrinsic members of Heim household for over a decade. We lost all to old age or illness in the last 4 years and it was crushing. We were blessed to have Heaven at Home Pet Hospice help them over rainbow bridge in the comfort of their own home. What an amazing service! We will hunt some turtles this weekend in their memory.
